Concrete decks typically provide improved traction and are more resistant to corrosion in wet conditions than steel deck truck scales.
This weighbridge has a composite design - only the top half of the deck is poured, allowing the concrete to stay in compression and resist cracking. Tension forces are handled by the high-strength steel structure below the concrete.
Multi-platform axle weighers

Weighbridge Design
An outstanding weighbridge design that includes a sandwich steel deck with 100% welding throughout the structure. The second bene t of the sandwich design is it seals the deck structure from the elements which can reduce the life of the scale.
Corrosion Protection
All steel surfaces are commercial blast cleaned to SSPC 6 industry standards. A high performance, high solids, two component urethane primer is applied, followed by a nal coat of high quality, heavy-duty polyurethane.

The absence of grout plates and the drilled in place anchor bolts mean simple, low cost installation.

NEMA 4X Stainless Steel Junction Box
Compact, all stainless steel junction and summation boxes, with connector-less cables for elimination of moisture or condensation related problems. Includes Gore breather vent to equalize pressure inside and outside the box.
