Over 248 years of scale and force measurement experience is represented in the newly named Emery Winslow Scale Company. Emery (since 1868) and Winslow (since 1896) were already joined in 1974, combining Winslow's vast weighbridge experience with Emery's process system and load cell strengths. The two companies shared technology but basically operated as separate entities. Now they will operate as one, for maximum utilization of resources and name recognition.

A commitment has been made by the company to dramatically expand its distribution capacity through the independent scale dealer network in the United States. The new name will be seen in advertisements and literature as part of this sales and marketing strategy.

Truck Scales

The Emery-Winslow Roadweigh II Series Hydrostatic Truck Scale is specifically designed for truck scale installations where mud collecting under the deck, water, and lighting are consistent problems.  If mud and dirt constantly gathers under your scale deck, grab a hose and spray it all away with no worries.  The hydrostatic load cells have lifetime warranties against failure from water, lightning, and rodents.  So, the whole scale can be washed down without the slightest fear of damaging the scale.

Weighbridge

The Top Access RoadWeighTM Series H8OTA truck scale is designed for applications that require an above ground installation or optionally, a shallow pit, eliminating the need for ramps and approach aprons. The weigh¬bridge is constructed of 12" wide-flange beams and 12" C-channels to form a weighbridge of great strength, durability and long-term reliability. The top deck standard is 1/4" diamond safety plate and optionally a 3/8" plate for heavy-duty applications. It is a scale system that will provide years of superior service for over-the-road vehicle traffic.
